July through early August was spent thinning and pruning, removing Natives that were taking over other plants, trying to keep deer and rabbits out of the flowers, and thankfully, very little invasive species work!
The first area, seed garden, is amazing! The berms are finally showing some Natives and the last of the huge Buckthorn are down and ready for burning. (If our temps ever get below 100 degrees. ) It’s been rough weather, but the plants are happy, as long as I make sure they don’t dry out.
