Mitchell’s Brown Satyr Butterfly
This is one of our target species for recovery. We haven’t seen any in years, but the edges of the wetland are ideal environments for this little beauty. This species included in the 2020 Federal Endangered Species Registery, and a focus of several regional Prairie Fen restoration efforts.
